** Sorry, we do not offer evening meals for 1 person only unless others guests have already booked dinners. There is a wide choice of eating places in Glenurquhart and by Loch Ness or in Cannich, near Glen Affric. Modest charge for lifts to/from nearest pub or restaurant for walkers and cyclists.

Terms and Conditions of Booking and Residence
Guests are requested to check the Terms and Conditions carefully. Attention is particularly drawn to the conditions relating to deposits and cancellations. Guests are advised to consider covering these risks with holiday and travel insurance.
Shenval B&B is a strictly No Smoking establishment. However, guests are welcome to smoke outside.
Sorry, we do not accept pets. Allergy sufferers, please note we do not keep pets either.
Our guests are kindly asked not to arrive before 5:00pm and to vacate rooms by 10:30am on day of departure. When convenient, luggage may be left with us before 5:00pm by prior arrangement.

All bookings are provisional until secured with a cash or cheque deposit. We are sorry we do not accept card payments. Payment by cheque will only be accepted when drawn on a UK bank account.
A secured booking represents a contract between our guests and ourselves.
We would ask for a cheque deposit of 50% of total stay at the time of booking, the balance to be paid in cash once you are here.
For single persons booking one night only: We would ask for full payment at time of booking.
If booking from outwith the UK, please contact us for payment arrangements.
Confirmation of Reservation
Once your reservation has been secured, confirmation of your reservation will be sent to you either by e-mail, or by post if time permits.
If, for any reason, you require to cancel your booking, please note that you entered into a contract at the time of booking and that cancellation refunds will be conditional on rooms/nights having been successfully re-let.
All reservation cancellations will be subject to an administration fee of £30 or the minimum one night charge for single bookings. This will be taken from the deposit cheque received at the time of making your reservation.
In all cases, we will attempt to re-let your reserved room(s) and cancellation refunds will be calculated against rooms/nights successfully re-let.
No refunds will be made for cancellations in any of the following circumstances:
Failure to arrive for your stay
Early termination of your stay unless we demonstrably fail to provide an adequate and reasonable service as advertised or if our standard of service noticeably falls during the course of a guest’s stay.
If, for any reason, WE exceptionally have to change or cancel a guest’s booking, our guest will be offered an alternative booking either with us or, subject to availability, with another local accommodation provider at the same or higher value (we will only pay a maximum of £30 towards the total extra cost of alternative accommodation elsewhere). The guest may either accept the alternatives or may cancel the booking in full, in which case a full refund will be made of all monies already paid.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects the guest’s statutory rights.
